I felt the same way about The Glass Bead Game. I want to try it again, but you may have just put me off Hesse for good! Haha!

I'm also finding that with the last two Game of Thrones books. The forth continuously put me to sleep and everyone kept saying I needed to go straight into book five, which I have and it IS better but...I'm so ready for something different!!
