Wow, I can't really imagine loving Austerlitz. I would say that I have respect for Austerlitz, but perhaps I just find it impossible to love a book that expends so much effort in trying to push me away again and again. I could appreciate what Sebald was doing, but I could break through his barrier to form an emotional connection to the book.

I am enjoying being school. It's true that I'm busier than I think I've ever been, but this is so much closer to my true calling than what I was doing before. That sounds terribly corny, but so be it. :)
