Not many books can be Owen Meany... Glad to hear that Garp is good. Have you read A Widow for One Year? That's another instance of Irving using a writer as a main character, and it provided a fascinating glimpse into some of his views on writing. It's no Owen Meany either, but it's worth reading if you haven't.
