i'm a very very complex person

I wouldn't say I loathe pedagogy; I am in favor of effective teaching, and I do think that it's always possible to learn more about how education works, to make one's methods better, etc. But it's certainly not my favorite thing to read about. After about eight years of working in education, I have finally decided that it's really not the right field for me, so at this point I'm fine with letting other people worry about pedagogy.
