The sunlight was gorgeous in my kitchen this morning; it made all the ordinary objects in my house seem more beautiful that usual. Of course I couldn't resist taking pictures.

The tart does not have an almondy middle, because my girlfriend does not like almonds. Alas! But it has a lemony-buttermilk middle, which is also good.

And I'm glad you like my tomatoes. They're very cute, if I do say so myself. The kitty bowl was a gift from my mother. :)

Your photos are so well lit with natural light, it is beautiful!

The plant has grown quite a bit! Hooray! We have a variegated one that I just picked up last month. They are really good looking!

Oh and the tart I could totally go for right now. I really need dessert. Yum Yum!

Thanks! Glad I could inspire you. It's always hard in summer because I hate to turn the oven on when it's hot, but there's so much beautiful fruit just begging to go into a tart or cake or pie...

Mmm, those nectarines look delicious. Don't get me wrong, I love blueberries too, but nectarines get me everytime. I love coming down in the morning and seeing the place all lit up, too bad my kitchen's white. It's a surefire way to start off with a headache.

I love the pictures on your blog, they're very pretty. I think we're going to get along just fine. :)

Next to cherries, that is. I forgot how good cherries are, I just bought not one, but two, bags of gorgeous cherries. They're dark, and huge. I'm in love. Oh, and mangos - how could I forget mangos! I guess you should just write me off as a fruit lover! Lol.

I was more than happy to add you, especially if you like nectarines! I mean, that's just one more thing we have in common, lol.

It was delicious, and would certainly be a great way to use up some of your blueberries.
